Mail Order Pharmacy Process
You can use the WellCare/Walgreens Mail Service to fill prescriptions for any drug that is on the formulary list.

If you choose to use the mail order service, you must use the WellCare/Walgreens Mail Service. Prescription drugs received through any other mail order service are not covered.

Generally, it takes two weeks to process and ship your order. The two-week period begins when you mail the prescription and order form and ends the time you receive the medication in the mail. In some cases, your mail order may be delayed.

You are not required to use the mail order prescription drug service to obtain an extended supply of maintenance medications. Instead, you have the option of using a retail pharmacy in WellCare's network to obtain a maintenance supply of medications. Some retail pharmacies may agree to accept the mail order reimbursement rate for an extended supply of medications, which may result in no out-of-pocket payment difference to you. However, if a pharmacy does not agree to accept the mail order reimbursement rate but has accepted an alternative retail/mail order pharmacy rate for an extended supply of medications, the enrollee will be liable for any difference in charge.

To get order forms and information about filling your prescriptions by mail, call the Customer Care Center at 1-888-265-1807 (TTY/TDD users should call 1-800-925-0178) or log on to www.mywhi.com (a site outside of WellCare). Customer Care Center hours are: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - Noon EST.

Details on the mail order process can be reviewed in the Evidence of Coverage.
