You may be able to get exta help to pay for your prescription drug premiums and costs. To see if you qualify for getting extra help, call 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TTY users should call 1-877-486-2048.

You can also call the Social Security Office at 1-800-772-1213 between 7am and 7pm, Monday-Friday. TTY users should call 1-800-325-0778. Or call your state Medicaid office.

WellCare Announces Resolution to Government Investigation
 

WellCare Health Plans, Inc. announced May 5, 2009 that it has resolved investigations by the United State’s Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida and the Florida Attorney General’s Office by entering in to a Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA).
