Extra Help
You’ve indicated that you might qualify for extra help from the government. To find out for sure, you must fill out a special form and mail it to the Social Security Administration office. 

It will take a few months to find out if you qualify. If you do qualify, the Social Security office will contact WellCare with your eligibility status.

 

You may be able to get extra help to pay for your Medicare prescription drug premiums and costs. To see if you qualify, call:

 

  • 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TTY users call 1-877-486-2048;
  • The Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 between 7am and 7pm, Monday - Friday. TTY users can call, 1-800-325-0778; or 
  • Your State Medicaid Office.
