Extra Help

Did you recently receive a letter from the government telling you what level of extra help you qualify for? If you did, the letter told you that you qualified for one of three levels.

Co-pay Assistance
Find your level in the table below, and then find your co-pays. A co-pay is what you pay for each prescription at the pharmacy counter. It can be a flat amount or a percentage. For the Signature or Classic Plan in your state, click on the plan co-pay link to find the flat co-pay amount.

NOTE:2007 resource levels are provided, but may vary in Alaska and Hawaii. Resources typically include savings and investments, but not your house, burial plot of personal possessions.


Premium Assistance
For Levels 1 and 2, there is no premium*, but Level 3 assistance may require a premium that uses a sliding scale based on income.
