Enrollment Disclaimer

WellCare is a Prescription Drug Plan that is approved by Medicare and contracts with the federal government.

WellCare Prescription Insurance, Inc. has a contract with Medicare that is reviewed annually and availability of coverage beyond the end of the current year is not guaranteed.

If you are enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan, you may not enroll in a Part D Plan (enrollment into a PDP plan will automatically disenroll you from your MA plan).

Enrollment periods into a Prescription Drug Plan occur during specific times of the year.

If you enroll into more than one plan at a time, you will be enrolled into the last plan applied for.

To be eligible: you must be eligile for Part A or enrolled in Part B, you must live in the plan's service area, and you may be enrolled into only one part D Plan at a time.

You must continue to pay your Part B premium, if not otherwise paid for under Medicaid or by another third party.

Members must use network pharmacies to access their prescription drug benefits. There are some occasions under emergency circumstances, where access to a non-network pharmacy for prescription benefits is allowed. Please call Customer Service for more information.
